Conclusion of Induction Orientation Training Programme National Health Mission J&K

Consequent upon joining of new staff in the programme management units at state / District / Block in different capacities, 4 days orientation training programme started by State Health Society, National Health Mission (NHM) at Srinagar w.e.f 5th to 8th November 2014 and Nagrota Jammu w.e.f 27th October 2014 to 30th October 2014, in order to acquaint the incumbents with the programmes / schemes of National Health Mission. Mission Director NHM J&K Dr Yashpal Sharma concluded the training programme in Srinagar in presence of other officers and officials of State Health Society (National Health Mission) J&K. On the occasion Mission Director asked the new entrants to work with dedication & zeal and said that the training programme was organised in order to acquaint the incumbents with the various programmes / schemes of National Health Mission so that they have not to face any difficulty while working in their respective units. MD NHM J&K had detailed interaction with the participants and gave them overview of National Health Mission in state and their job profiles and advised them to adopt mission mode of working for the poor , sick and all others so that the state could have a better health profile.
About 30 participants were imparted training in both the divisions. Programme managers and other officials and officers of State Health society including Dr Mustaq DNO Kashmir, Dr Arun Sharma programme Manager, Dr Asmat Jan, Dr Shabir, Dr Younus , were also present in the conclusion.
Topics included in the training included Maternal Health – Janani suraksha yogna, janani sishu suraksha yojna, mother child tracking system, child health, national urban health mission, rashtriya bal swastha karyakram and other child health programmes, ASHA and community monitoring, financial management including books of accounts, financial rules and codel formalities, Tally and CPSMS, Audit, health management information system, rashtriya kishore swasth karyakram, preparation of district health action plan.
